Day 1 – Arrival to Airport to Kandy

Depending on your flight you will be greeted by a Red Elephant Travels representative at the Bandaranaike International Airport on arrival and once you are met with our representative he would escort you to your designated vehicle and transfer you to Kandy.

On the way to Kandy you can visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which looks after a large number of Elephants especially the baby elephants who have lost their way from the elders, and one of the main attractions of this park is the feeding and bathing of the elephants in different time schedules.  

Kandy is called the Hill Capital of Sri Lanka it is also famous for its immense beauty; the main attraction of Kandy is the Temple of The Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha which is named as one of the seven UNESCO declared World Heritage sites in the country. With its luxuriant prairie, picturesque lake, longest river of the country and misty mountains, the Kandy city successfully mesmerizes every visitor unsurprisingly.

In the evening enjoy a visit to the Sacred Temple of the Tooth followed by a viewing of a traditional cultural dance performance.

Day 2 & 3 – Nuwara Eliya

After Breakfast  you will visit the city Around the  Nuwara Eliya, During the city tour in Nuwara Eliya you will visit the main attractions of the town which include the golf course, trout streams, Victoria Park, and boating or fishing on Lake Gregory. You can also visit a working tea factory where the slow-growing tea bushes of this highland region produce some of the world's finest Orange Pekoe tea. You can also add Seethe Eliya and Haggala Gardens.

Overnight at your designated Hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4 – Nuwara Eliya to Horton Plains -

After breakfast you will visit the Horton Plains in the morning. Horton Plains is a beautiful, silent, strange world with the chance of an excellent hiking tour in the shadows of Sri Lanka’s second- and third-highest mountains, Kirigalpotta (2395m) and Totapola (2359m). The ‘plains’ themselves form an undulating plateau over 2000m high, covered by wild grasslands and interspersed with patches of thick forest, rocky outcrops, filigree waterfalls and misty lakes. In the Evening you can Visit “World’s End” In Sri Lanka.It will be a wonderful trekking trip.

Overnight you can stay at a camp site Horton Plains or designated hotel at Nuwara Eliya .

Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya to Bandarawela

After breakfast today you can enjoy a Scenic train ride via Nuwara Eliya to Ella. You can see beautiful landscape beautiful Sceneries on the way to Bandarawela. After proceed to Bandarawela you will check in to your designated Hotel and you can visit the Ayurveda Spa at the hotel.

Overnight you can stay at a camp site at Horton Plains or designated hotel at Bandarawela.

Day 6 –Bandarawela

After breakfast you will proceed to Ella Rock for hiking trip to beautiful Ravana Cave.

Overnight you can stay at a camp site at Horton Plains or designated hotel at Bandarawela.

Day 7 – Bandarawela to Airports

Returns Policy
